Could be a windshile leak down the A-Pillar & water gets into the delayed accy relay for the GEM Module (Body Computer as ford called it for a few years) & you get what you have now
Try Goolge as I did a few weeks ago for a relative He had the same issue with the blower being on & killing the battery
No real fix I found for the windshield leak Seem a robot didn't put the rubber sealant on correctly at the factory fo about 5 years on several fords.
If it isn't water related then the GEM Module controls all those body features
If you get a used one & match up the numbers, you supposedly can avoid buying a reman gem & the expense of having to reflash it to your factory built combination
It sounds like you have a loose brake shoe inside one of your rear axle brake drums. You will have to remove the rear wheels and brake drums to find out for sure.
I'm sorry to say that you will either have to rebuild the transmission or replace it. All transmissions will start out in 1st. gear when put in drive. Oddly enough this is also the same gear that is used when you are in reverse. please let me know if you need help with anything else.
shift linkage needs adjusting,,could be bent, easy fix, located along firewall to fram beneath the column, ask your son wut he ran over and didnt tell u about... hope i could help...:)
it's a default sensor to keep from blowing motor, you need to check your radiator for leaks. If that doesn't fix the problem , change your alternator. :)
