I have the Keurig Gourmet Deluxe Home Brewing System #B60 When the pod is in place with the cover down the water won't come out while brewing. It will not make a brewed cup of coffee. If I remove the pod then the hot water flows thru the pod holder. I already did a de-scaling in hopes to correct the problem but it still does not work. When the pod is in place the brewing will begin and then suddenly stop. The flow system does not force the water through the pod. Any suggestions?

Check that pod has a punctured hole on BOTH ends.. If the bottom or to wear not punctured this will happen with most Keurigs.
Replace the pod holder if defective.

SOURCE: unit will not brew when pod is inserted; works w/o pod however.

This may be one of two issues:
1. The pump is malfunctioning which can cause the internal reservior to not completely fill which causes issues during brewing. My unit dribbled random amounts of water instead of brewing for about a week before the pump died completely.
2. The puncture seal isn't in the right position. Open the Keurig fully so you can see the sharp puncture pin. Very Carefully push the black rubber gasket around it all the way up. Then pull it back down about 1/16". Brew a cup, if the problem continues, try sliding the gasket further down by increments of 1/32".

My keurig B60, I think?? I don't have the manual, either spits out water everywhere or brews the grounds into the cup?

You need to clean the innards once in a while with vinegar. Try their website for the manual. It has cleaning instructions.

Keurig special edition b60 prime problem?

You may want to try this.

Simply trying to clear the lines often will work. And as you will see from the many comments below, by far the most reliable way to get your Keurig brewer working again is the "Slap and Burp" method.

Here is how you do it.

First, unplug the brewer and remove both the water reservoir and drip tray.

Next, hold the brewer upside down over the sink and slap the base a few times. And I mean really slap it.

Now put everything back together and try brewing again. Most of the time this works with a couple of good slaps. If not, try it again.

And don't worry, there are no laws against giving your Keurig a good slapping!

Good luck!
