Need puk code for my phone

An overview of PUK codes

A PUK (PIN Unlock Key) code is required to unlock SIM cards that have become locked following three successive incorrect PIN entries. If your SIM card becomes locked, you will need to get a PUK code from AT&T to unlock your SIM card.

You can obtain your phone's PUK code from AT&T in one of these ways:

Get Your Phone's PUK Code Online
  1. Go to the Phone/Device page in myAT&T.
  2. From the My Phone/Device screen, select the Unblock SIM Card link under Manage my phone/device.
  3. The Unblock SIM screen will display your PUK code and will give you instructions for unblocking your SIM Card.

Once you receive your PUK code, you will need to enter it into your phone to set a new PIN code.

Note: If you enter the wrong PUK code 10 times in a row, your SIM card will be invalidated, and you will need to purchase a new SIM Card. The phone will display the following error: "PUK blocked call operator."

I need my sim unlocked i meant to put the phone on lock but selected sim by accident. i need a puk code for telus iphone 3g . they are currently closed pls i really need to get a hold of ppl i cant find...

PUK is sim specific and has nothing to do with the phone. It's the security embedded on the sim card. You have to get the PUK code in the card attached in the sim card packaging when you bought it and enter the PUK Code to be able to access your sim. If you can't find it, you have to report to your telecom provider. If they can't do anything, it's time to buy a new sim card.

I have been messing with my sims card security code ect. And now I can't call or anything. My screen is showing Enter SIM PUK:

Hi,

PUK refers to Personal Unblocking Key. This is a Code which is offered only by Service Provider. There is NO charge. Call up the service provider and ask for the same and they would be glad to offer that.

Note - If you enter 3 incorrect PUK codes, SIM would be permanently damaged.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

UNBLOCK MY PUK CODE

PUK stands for 'Pin Unlock Code', and has to be entered if you've locked your SIM by repeatedly entering the wrong PIN code. If you're asked for a PUK code, you've had more goes at guessing your SIM card PIN code than you're allowed. You'll need to phone your network provider Customer Services for your PUK code to unlock the SIM. For security reasons, it's only the network operator that can legally provide you with a PUK code to unlock your SIM.With some phones you will get a cert card with your sim card and it might have the 8 digit PUK on it. if this has been entered 10 times or more incorrectly then you will need a new sim card

Need to unblock phone

PUK means "personal unlocking key" .

The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

You need to call the phone company that released the SIM card, they can retrieve the puk code from a database for free.

In your case you need to contact your SIM card provider technical support to unlock the SIM.

The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.

If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone will not ask for the PUK anymore.

Locked SIM card

Brother 3 time inserting of wrong security code gives "Enter PUK" message, 10 times entering wrong PUK code gives "Sim blocked" message. If there is "Enter PUK" message u can get it from service provider but if there is "Sim blocked" no one can do anything to your sim. You have to change your SIM in that case. Your service provider can replace your blocked SIM with another new SIM in normal charge. If this answer satisfied u do vote.
