You cannot crop images and save them on a D200. Thats what the Nikon Capture and Nikon PictureProject software are for. Here is the Cnet review link: http://webshots.com.com/digital-cameras/nikon-d200/4507-6501_7-31568586.html?tag=sub

You've made an excellent choice btw....

Hi I am at my whits end trying to crop a photo on my sonny cybershot DSC W800! Can someone please let me know how it's done thanks Kris

Cropping a photo in a camera? I never have seen a camera with this option. You use a zoom, or go close or far, to frame the picture before you shoot. Or for a crop you use a computer.
Sorry, but I think you want a function from your camera, what not is build in it.

Is it possible to use digital zoom and shoot photos in manual mode?

Although your EOS 600D does not support digital zoom, while shooting, the same effect can be reached when the picture is already on the memory card. If you want to zoom in later (Crop) please shoot in RAW (or RAW + JPG) Only then all details will be preserved. Later you then can crop the part you wanted to have in the first place. I know your camera can crop the pictures you want to print from the camera. I'm not sure you also can edit RAW pictures and later save them (cropped) as a jpg.

After cropping and saving a picture, how do I revert it back to the original photo?

Hello Karen,

You need to go to the original picture file. As you can only undo cropping or other changes while the undo option in edit menu is active, usually early on when file is open in programme editing with. Just after doing the cropping.

So hopefully you didn't crop picture then write over its original file. You saved it { save as } to a new file. If you did overwrite original file after cropping; then you will need to relocate this original picture from the source it came from to access original composition, size etc. If from your camera then simply re transfer to your computer & open it there.

If you're not sure about where it is on your computer then you can do an open search by typing in part of the file name or file format { part after the dot in filename & go through the results lists to try & locate it.

Hope this helps.

How to make file size of photos small to send by email?

I'll give you a trick! it has a large file size because of pixels, so you need to minimize it.

Open the file with mspaint and crop"

1. right click the file that you want to minimize file size, then choose " open with " then there's a option of program, choose the mspaint .
2. then once the picture was already open with mspaint, goto toolbox and choose the Crop tool..
3. Crop the picture..then open a new mspaint, then paste the cropped picture into it, then save afterwards..
4. then its done.

Good luck & please rate..

I want to save picture that we took in a zoomed in mode -magnified larger than it was originally taken? is this possible?

You can do that in a photo-editing program. It's called "cropping". You select the area you want and the rest is cropped out.

Dimage Z6. How do I save a cropped picture onto the camera memory card? I can do it on my Sony Cibershot. Can I do it on the Dimage (no manual or CD provided with second-hand camera).

After you have cropped your picture, just press the enter button. It will ask if you want to save it. It will be saved as another image. You will not lose the original.

How do you crop and save a picture on the d70

hi

Not aware that you can do that on camera. If you are talking about doing it using the Nikon program or any other program, for that matter, let people know which one. Maybe the answer will come your way.
