1965 MF 150 lift pump rebuilt still will not lift anything heavy. Some fluid coming from vent on lift cover. Please advise.

If you put the pump on the carb and then the gasket, then cover, you assembled it wrong and the pump is letting gas just run out of the tank when the engine is off.

You need to trace the leak. Running the pump without fluid will break it. There can be a simple part, a line or connection, which will be quite inexpensive to replace. But you can destroy expensive parts like the rack and pinion steering unit as well as the steering pump.

Put steering fluid of the proper type into the pump reservoir if you intend to drive it to a repair shop. If it all leaks out in minutes, just have it towed.

The type of repairs. Typically you can find problems where the plastic clip holds the fluid supply line to the frame of your vehicle. (There is heavy metal known as a frame cradle on your style vehicle.) The fluid line travels to a cooling coil in the front bottom part of the car.

Repair of steering pump, some can be rebuilt but it takes some talent. Cheaper to get a Salvage part from junkyard. Rack and Pinion units can be rebuilt, can be exchanged or bought through Salvage.

A good Salvage choice is carparts.com and is National coverage network which ships to your door. Has free parts search, choice of price from different suppliers. Of course everything you may need is available new from autoparts stores like Autozone, Advance.

the analogue hands of my GA 150 mf have been off by ten hours since I bought the watch new at Macys. (PS) Macys doesn't cover watches bought from them, they make you send them back to the manufacturer) anyway..i've read through the paperwork, and about 10 websites, but to no avail., it is currently 10:00 am in LA, and my watch says 2:05 pm

You have a serious mechanical failure in the transmission, it will need to be rebuilt or replaced.

usually you press down on the part where you put out the cigarette on.

This sounds like too much fluid...

check the hydrolic fluid & pump if low on fluid then it wont lift or the pump might be going out
