You bet dude.  Once you click that button your screwed.  You need to click on the tab that says to sync only the selected applications that you recently downloaded.

Don't stress though.  Cancel out of this thing and download the free apps Senuti (itunes spelled backwards) or Expod to reverse stream the data from your ipod onto your computer.  Then save a back up copy in case your ipod gets all fu.k.d up.  That way you won't lose everything on your ipod if it does get wiped out and you can just re-download your saved info.

The greedy bastards at Apple have thought of everything to reign in profits, because itunes is programmed to only stream data from computer to ipod and not the other way around.

How do you upgrade ipod touch 2nd gen to be able to play fifa 11 we thought this was a 3rd gen when bought from argos in feb10 but told 3rd gen is onle 32gb or 64gb

to update your ipod touch second gen to 4.1 version you must connect to your itunes account on your computer with ipod attatched sync all apps, music, videos, everything because it will delete everything and needs everything backed up. then go to your ipod on itunes and it will say update, click it it will take around half an hour to update and restore you ipod fully. This worked for my ipod touch gen 2, it kept saying when i tried to update i still have things on my ipod not synced to itunes when i have synced multiple times but it updated ok and i do not notice anything missing. this is all i know about this i hope it helps.

MY IPOD IS LOCKED

There is one solution for this, but (it sucks I know) it deletes all your music, phots, etc. So be sure that you have a sync (wich you can't make when your iPod is locked) So the solution is:
  1. Plug your iPod into your pc or Mac.
  2. Open iTunes
  3. Click (on the left of your screen) on your iPod
  4. Press repair
  5. And let it do it's thing
Well, I hope I helped you, please let me know.
Kind regards, FriskYR

My ipod won't let me go back to main menu and i can't turn it off

The easiest solution is to restore your ipod. This will erase everything on it and reset it back to factory defaults. You will need to sync when complete to copy your songs / apps / settings back over. Make sure you've synced recently before you try this procedure.

Press and hold the power button and the home button at the same time. Continue holding. Your ipod touch will power off. Wait a few seconds, and power it back on. Is it working now?

If not, turn your ipod back off then press and hold the Home button. Reconnect the USB cable to the ipod touch and your computer. When you reconnect the USB to ipod, the device should then power on.

Continue holding the Home button while it starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo.

When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button and iTunes will display the recovery mode message. Click OK and iTunes will restore your ipod to factory defaults and re-sync your data.

If this is helpful, please rate me accordingly. If not, let me know and I'll see if I can offer other suggestions.

Cant get songs onto ipod shuffle.(daughter has ipod touch)

Hi there,
When you go into the ipod section on iTunes, click the music tab, make sure 'sync music' is checked and 'selected playlists:' is also, then check the playlist you want to use. Click 'sync' button

If that don't work go back to the summary tab and hit 'restore' and follow the instructions to reset the ipod, resync and all should be fine.

All the best
