I would think it's a problem with (CCRM) constant control relay module . This module has relay's inside that control the fuel pump , cooling fans , A/C compressor clutch , PCM - engine computer power relay . And thier are electronics involved , solid state circuity . Google CCRM found this helpful answer from mercury mechanic on JustAnswer com

Try taken the bios battery out for about 30 secs, replace it and then reboot, after post press F8 untill you have a screen pop up with a safe mode option use the arrows keys to navigate to safe mode and press enter. In safe mode goto my conputer c:drive(boot drive) windows. In the windows folder look for a file called prefetch, delete all it contents. Exit out of everything and restart the pc. If same thing happens post back.
Here is a procedure I use to isolate a battery drain. Remove the negative battery cable from the battery. Using a 12-volt test light, hook one end to the negative battery post the other end to the negative battery cable you have just disconnected. The test light will glow or "light" if there is a drain. If the "light or glow" is faint, that is probably normal draw for the clock or computer. If the "light or glow" is bright, this will indicate a large drain is present. That should be corrected, asap. Now start removing and replacing the fuses one by one until the light goes out; The one fuse that causes the light to shut off, will be the circuit with the drain. Remember to close the car doors, when testing. If not, the interior doom light will interfere with the results of the test.
Once you have isolated the drain, have it repaired, asap.
The problem seem to involve a number of circuits, I would suspect the Key switch as it supplies power to all affected systems. The dieing on release of the clutch is usually the kickstand safety switch. If the kick stand is not up, and the bike in gear, then when the clutch switch detects release is kills the engine so you don't kill your self.
Check or replace these switches.
the above memory stick which will turn on but after between 3 to 10
secs it shows either the shut down screen and turns off or just shuts
off any way.. then it will just keep starting and turning off untill i pull the battery out or put the key lock on. ive
