Hello,

According to the Elite site your audio driver is:

C-Media CMI973x/9761A Audio Driver

The link to the download page is:

P4S5A/DX+ Downloads

The audio driver is at the bottom. Click on a download server closest to you. The downloaded file is a .zip file. You can Save it to your desktop, but then must extract it to it's full size and format. (.exe file) Once extracted you can run (double-click) the file to install the driver on your system.

I cant install audio driver in my d945gccr motherboard

Boot to your bios menu by pressing the F2 every 2 seconds. Make sure your Audio setting is set to [Enable] or to [AC97].
Install the audio driver through windows device manager if you are using windows any version of XP. (See below for instructions)
Open the link provided;
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&keyword=%22D945GCCR%22
Than, Select an Operating System from the list. Next, Select a Download Type. You want to download, Audio: Realtek* ALC Audio Driver. Create a folder on your desktop and name it Audio, save the Realtek driver in the Audio folder. Open the Audio folder & right click once on the file named; AUD_allOS_5939_PV_RTL.exe
A pop-up window will open. Left click once on, Extract here..
The .exe file will uncompress. Now open windows device manager. You should see somthing like, "unknown PCI device" or "simple controller" / "or a yellow pair shaped icon with an ! inside".
Right click once on the unknown PCI device or the yellow pair shaped icon. A pop-up window will open. Left click once on update driver. Windows hardware wizard will open. Click No, not at this time. Than click the next button. Another window will open. Left click once in the circle next to, Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Than click the next button. Again, another window will open. We want to remove the green check mark next to, Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...). Click the green check mark once & it will go away.
Click the browse button, click the + sign next to my computer. Find the desktop folder you named Audio & left click on the folder once so it is highlighted.
Windows check the folder and will install the correct driver software automatically. Once completed. Close all opened windows & restart you’re system. Test your audio. If you intend to use a mic, you will need to set this up through control panel. Open, Sounds and audio device.

Good luck!

Realtek AC'97 driver

Before installing the AC97 software drivers, open System than click the Hardware tab than click Device manager. Scroll down to Sound, video & game controllers. Do you see a yellow ! point? If so than your drivers do need to be reinstalled. I could send you to Asus's site but they are a bit out dated so go here for updated drivers. The first one listed under Description will do just fine.
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=23&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false
When you open the sound, video & game controller find AC97 & uninstall by right clicking on AC97 & uninstall. Only the AC97, leave the rest alone. Restart the PC than install the new drivers that you saved to your hard drive.
Check driver installed by opening controll panel than open Sound & Audio Device icon. Under Audio tab Realtek AC97 should be listed than click the Voice tab & the same should be listed.
Test both Audio & Mic functions. If either fail your intergrated controller could be defective. Lets hope everything works fine.
