Every motherboard will have the model number of the board marked on the board. Some manufactures place the model number on a white sticker located on the side of a PCI slot. Others mark the board near the memory slots, & others will mark a white sticker with the model number on the side of an IDE port or LPT port. (All found on the motherboard it's self).
Older boards lack such markings & people look for some markings on the north bridge & south bridge chipsets. The VIA P4MA you posted above I found from searching google. Looking for specs. Bottom line it is not easy finding older boards with little information marked on the board.
