Well, you can only use 3 gigs of ram with windows anything unless your running a 64 bit operating system and a 64 bit processor. So, if you have a 32 bit cpu? You are probably wasting your money. Look at some of the Sound Blaster Cards, they are a very good product,
is your keyboard usb? If so it may be that your keyboard is not recognised until windows boots, in which case plug in an old ps/2 type keyboard and see if you can change the options then
You MUST run a 64 BIT if you want to run anything more than 3 Gb of ram ( such as windows xp 64 BIT , Vista 64 BIT , or even winows 2008 server 64 BIT ) Windows 2003 does NOT support 64 BIT ....
Sorry, but it means that the Vista OEM software that was put on the hard drive is lost, unless you have a backup of the drive before the upgrade to XP.
You will need to get a vista CD and load it using the Vista product key on the PC.
