I have insalled Cabelas Big Game Hunter Alaskan Adventure and when i open the game the screen goes black and ''out of range'' mesage appears.
I tried to change the resolution, the monitor refreshing rate but nothing works.
I have Win XP SP3, ADM sempron 2400+ 1,67 GHz, 1,25 GB RAM, NVIDA GeForce FX 5200 128 Mb
What should I do?
Well for ONE YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT ALITTLE TIME, THIS ISN'T LIGHTYEAR SPEAD STUFF YOU HAVE SO BE PATIANT. KNOW A COUPLE OF THINGS TO GO THROUGH WHILE SCREEN IS BLANK. PRESS CTRL + ALT + DEL THIS WILL NOT EFFECT YOUR GAME, ITS GOING TO ALLOW YOU TO OPEN YOUR TASK MANAGER. ONCE YOU HAVE IT OPEN IN THE BLACK SCREEN MAKE SURE IT IS RUNNING. DO NOT END TASK THIS IS IMPOTANT DO NOT END TASK. OK KNOW IF YOU COULD NOT PULL UP YOUR GRAFIX CARD IS GOOD BUT YOU MIGHT NEED TO UPDATE IT. ALSO YOU ARE RUNNING ON A COMPUTER THAT MY BE USING ALL THE MEMORY TO RUN THE GAME THIS IS CALL FREEZE STALL. GOTO A FRIENDS HOUSE INSTALL AND PLAY IT.
REMEMBER GAMES LIKE THESE OBLIVION, CABELAS, THEY NEVER PROGAMED THE GAME TO USE A LITTLE SPACE. YOUR COMPUTER WILL RUN HOT DUE TO THIS SO MAKE SURE ITS RUNNING COOL. THAN IF YOUR STILL NOT CONVINCED, LOOK AT THE BACK OF THE CD AND LOOK FOR WAVY RAINBOWS. SOME CD'S ARE HEATED UP BEFORE YOU BUY THEM AND REDERS THE DISC USELESS.GOTO THE TECH SUPPORT SITE FOR THE GAME AND THEY MAY TELL YOU TO HAVE IT REPLACED.
YES THIS IS THE SYMPTOM OF NOT ENOUGH AVAILBLE SPACE ON THE HARD TO RUN ALL APPS...
ok you have kingshot. This is when the grafix the computer came with is the only one running or your proccesor is freezing up when you get to that point. thus the sound is herd but no video.
its either your default graphics card taking over or your processor is freezing up. thus the sound is herd with no video. their is a chance your 5200 card is backing up. thus the sound is herd but no video.
uh so how do we fix it? ur saying we cant play it on our cpu? is their a way to make it so that it only uses a smaller ammount than using all the memory? i personally think its a problem with the resolution..

trayball, my computer have the requirements for the game, i tryed to update the graphic card but i have the last version. . . the game do not use all the memory to run the game and the game works. . . i mean i have sound but no image exept a " OUT OF RANGE" message on the monitor
i have 10 GB free space... is not enough? ... i trayed many caberas games: Trophy bucks, african safari, big game hunter 2009 but all have the same problem what should i do? i gave them realtime priority, i closed all process tasks ( exept antivirus and system tasks)
WHAT SHOULD I DO???????????
can i do sommething to make the game work or i should burn the computer and buy a new one
