My eclipse cd3404 player is off and tells me to call 800SC502970 what do i do? happened after new car battery.

If you are the original owner, you should be having the CD which you played first. That CD acts as a key as an anti theft protection. However if do not have the CD then ring up eclpse and have your Serial Number ready at hand. They are the only ohes who can help you out to make a new key. This happens every time the battery is disconnected. So all the best............sodeep
