Waterpik batteries do stop charging overtime. The batteries are cheap to replace. However, they are not easy to replace unless you have some know how with soldering.

yes it would be covered, just google the product name and click on the company website, scroll down and click on contact us and you should be able to take care of it there.

Contact the manufacturer for a replacement product, if it is not holding a charge the battery is dead. which is a defect in the product. Nothing else you can do.
