There may be a Menu choice on your cell phone for Account Balance. If so, choose that link to learn about the amount of money available on your prepaid cell phone account and the date when the funds end.

Or, log into your cell phone prepaid account and see the information.

Note: I have an AT&T Go Phone with a prepaid account. I have to be sure to refill the prepaid account BEFORE the day the prepaid amount ends in order for any remaining funds to roll over with the added new funds.

As you did not mention which country your land line is in.do a google search for Telecommunications Odbudsman {add the country} and when you find the relevant one for your country note the details and mention in your email that if your phone line is not fixed within one week that you will forward your complaint to the Telecommunication Odbudsman. .

Reorder the service and when they find out you already have it they should just fix it.

The way that I understand it is as long as your 'old contracted phone' isn't a 4G phone...I guess that only 3G phones can have or be switched to prepaid services..

Um If its prepaid you cant. If its a monthly phone, call the company && make them suspend the service, its free for 30 days or so

That happend to me. I kept trying and trying and i finally called and they did the same thing. Go to your nearest at&t store and you will need to buy a new sim card. They are like 20 bucks. Golden(: dont mess with the settings and write down your password. You cannot get the PUk code unless you go to a store.
