I'm not a clock maker nor repairman.. wait don't they have there own name? "Watch Maker" right? (Siler - from Heros)'
Anyway,I've doodled with a couple and came across a tip. Make a stand to hold and test the mechanism while you work on the case. By making a comparable stand it will give you some idea of how the holder should be shaped. You could probably start with mounting a simple box with no bottom to the wall and use a few pieces of wood to let the clock works sit and allow the weights to work and to swing the pendulum. Would be a good idea to get the timing done at this time as it does take a while to adjust, wait, and adjust again. It took me 3 to 6 months to get ours just right.
Good luck, Aloha! ukeboy57

How does the scale work on the retro aluminum scale/clock?

Look for a shipping lock on the scale tray arm or post. I don't know what form it might have, but it could be a specially marked screw that needs to be removed.

I have daneker grandmother floor clock that will not stay running.

Hello William Kitchens,

Typically the difference b'twix a serious GRANDFATHER
and the misogynistically dubbed "grandmother" is the case.

Every generation or so.. they need be SERVICED and oiled
(more often if you actually care about them).

If you still have the INSTRUCTIONS it was originally shipped with... therein you will find a section on how to hang the pendulum...
(the part that assures the "tic" & the "toc" are
PERFECTLY BALANCED (TERRIBLY IMPORTANT)).

Don't even think about reading it until you have completely squared & leveled the clock.

My BEST ADVICE... check out yelp for your local clock
CRAFTS-PERSON and get it serviced.

Need to turn alarm function off on a Timex T301B clockradio

there are 3 buttons just above the above the LCD clock - Alarm Set, Radio, and Buzzer. When you press the Radio button you will see the word "radio" appear/disappear just below the time with each press of the button. You want to press this button to make the word "Radio" disappear. The same is true for the Buzzer button. Press the Buzzer button so that the word "Buzzer" does NOT appear below the time. If you do not see the word Buzzer or Radio below the time, then the Radio Alarm and the Buzzer Alarm are both OFF and will not sound.
