I have the above clock which I bought many years ago in kit form. I have completely built the wooden case but I have lost the instruction manual on how to fit the clock mechanism, can you help me with any diagrammed.. Regards Mr. Bernard Francis
I'm not a clock maker nor repairman.. wait don't they have there own name? "Watch Maker" right? (Siler - from Heros)'
Anyway,I've doodled with a couple and came across a tip. Make a stand to hold and test the mechanism while you work on the case. By making a comparable stand it will give you some idea of how the holder should be shaped. You could probably start with mounting a simple box with no bottom to the wall and use a few pieces of wood to let the clock works sit and allow the weights to work and to swing the pendulum. Would be a good idea to get the timing done at this time as it does take a while to adjust, wait, and adjust again. It took me 3 to 6 months to get ours just right.
Good luck, Aloha! ukeboy57
