Bernina 830 Record??? Or newer Bernina 830 computerized?

If it's a Record, could very well need a good cleaning and oiling. Older mechanical machines need periodic lube to keep them running smoothly and quietly.

Is it a new 830 computerized model or the older 830 Record mechanical?

If it is the 830 Record, it needs oiling--1-2 drops of good quality sewing machine oil (specifically concentrate on the stitch selector lever and oil the metal parts that move against other metal parts) Do NOT oil the cams, plastic gears, any rubber parts, ie belts, bobbin winder wheel.

What model is your HTC? I have an HTC ONE, so I'll use mine as an example. In the camera app, press the 3-dot menu to drop down the settings, scroll down to shutter option, and uncheck where it says shutter sound.

You do have a one year factory warranty from date of purchase - suggestion is to send it in for evaluation as it could be a problem with the chip inside the camera that controls image processing. It sounds like that chip may need to be replaced. You can call Olympus Customer Service at 800-622-6372 option 2 and then option 3 to discuss the repair process with them.

see if picasa will down load your pictures or buy a card reader and use the usb to down load your pictures

If your computer is Win ME/2000/XP   you do not need software from a disk
Windows can do it all by itself
Simply plug the camera into the USB port and Windows will put up the scanner camera wizard - follow the prompt
