A medium length extension (stuck through the grill), a swivel and an impact is all you need to remove the pulley with the frozen bearing. It's just a bolt, a washer, and a lock washer holding it on. You just need to remove the pulley to see if the bearing is stuck. Take the pulley to your local shop that can press bearings and you can be up and running for $20 dollars instead of $300. Here's a diagram I found on partstree:

Hi,
Sounds like the float is bad - what happens is the float sits just a little off and when you add the demand of more fuel it skewers the RPM by starving the engine.
Try removing the carburator and either adjusting the float by bending the tab or replace it. As part of this repair i suggest you just replace the needle and seat as well if they are over a year old.
Thanks,

SOURCE: What attachments can I use for a manual pto lawn tractor?
it would depend on the model/size of the machine i have seen that the snow blower attachments don't work very well on any rider i don't think sears had a tiller for anything modern and what you would pay for most any attachment you can get a stand alone version cheaper if you want a work tractor get a wheel horse a old cub or deere tractor not a riding mower that is to weak to handle the work out
