Unfortunatly The Steering Gear Box MUST Be REPLACED. Ther is Not an Easy Way to Repair it.
if the Case is broke you will Have to Pay The CORE Charge Also. THERE ARE 4 BOLTS 3 Through the Frame to The Box 1 for the Steering Shaft ,AND 2 P/S PUMP LINES TO IT AND THE PITMAN ARM NUT You Will need A Pitman Arm PULLER for the Pitman Arm.

You'll have to weld a piece of flat iron with mounting holes pre-drilled, on to the frame, or if the frame where it broke isn't too bad, maybe just pound it flat, and weld the cracks and grind them . Then be sure to put some large washers on it, and lock washers. Somebody must have had that off at one time, and didn't tighten the bolts enough.

89 gmc 4x4 2500 pickup power steering lines leaking inside frame . how do i change the lines ? drop the bumper or pull gear box?

there are no lines inside the frame , you may have a leaking line but not inside the frame, it may look like its inside but not, clean the area good and then watch for a leak as someone turns the steering wheel, at the gear box you will see two lines a preasure and return line, the preasure goes from gearbox to pump and the return goes from gear to pump also, some trucks may have a cooler, if this is the case the only diffrence is the return will go from gearbox to cooler to pump, this is all the lines none are in the frame, good luck.

1989 GMC Suburban. Turn Signal do not work for both sides, fuse is good and the hazards work. Manual says to change the turn signal flasher, located in the convenience center. Where is that located at and...

Not sure but the flasher unit is separate from turn signals and most vehicles the turn flasher unit is not far from the steering wheel post up under the dash.
