set up an email account
Set this up on the phone when you access playstore and get asked for an email address.

Probably your Google services needs update, that's all.
Go to Settings, Apps, from here search for the PlayStore app and tap it, clean cache and clear data.
Back just once and look for Google Play Services, this is under the tab All, Do the same thing. Now reboot your tablet and open the PlayStore app, it will prompt you to accept the terms and service once more. This should fix the problem.
Make sure you have a wifi connection. Playstore is on the internet so you have to be able to access the internet.
Also, if the Playstore app that came installed on the tablet is lost or needs re-installed for some reason, then you won't be able to re-install it on your tablet unless you also have gmail running on the tablet or google+ or some other app that Google can use to identify you as the tablet owner.
This mean that you are trying to get the email from an Android device. Just go to settings, account, and where you see the google account tap it and delete this account. Now within setting, go to Apps, scroll down to PlayStore and tap it. Tap Clear Cache, Clear Data. If you have a Gmail app, do the same thing. Now reboot your phone. If it prompt you to log in to a google account, do so. If not, go to setting, account and log in with your google account. If everything is successful, open the PlayStore app, accept their terms and services. Now open the Gmail app, check for any instructions to follow, but it should work now.
There should be an email application already in your list of apps, you can set your account up through there. Also if you would prefer the gmail app, it might be installed on your device already. If not then you can go to the playstore in your apps and download gmail then login through that app.
