Hello, Charles -
I am a librarian by profession. I suggest you visit your local public library and ask one of the librarians for help in locating materials regarding what to include in the constitution or bylaws of a religious based non-profit organization.
By the way, you may also need to find out what is required for the non-profit organization to be designated as a charitable organization so that anyone who donates to the organization can take the value of the donation as a personal income tax deduction.
Years ago, I drafted the bylaws of a non-profit organization in the USA. One of the things we needed to do was register as "a business entity" with the state government where the organization is located.
If you are in the USA, Nolo Press publishes some excellent books and guides regarding non-profit organizations. In case you are in the USA, this is the link to online information from Nolo Press:

Best wishes.
