just go to your settings then to your accounts and sync n then see weather your account is there or not?
if not then from menu...click on add account and enter your email and password.
you will be back to your account soon.
Sign out of your gmail account, even if you have to use another handheld or PC. Then go to your laptop, clear the address bar at the top, type in gmail.com and hit enter. then use your gmail address and password to sign in. You see, Google's Servers recognize you as "signed in". so, necessary to sign out and stop the communication with gmail.
