If you mean the wireless pass code or Passphrase you need to log onto your modems web page which normally sits at IP address: 192.168.100.1. In the wireless section there is the pass code update field.

Follow the steps one by one:
1.Open a browser window.
2.Type in the IP address for the modem 192.168.0.1.
3.Type in the default Username: admin.
4.Type in the default Password: motorola.
5.Type in your new username in the Password Change Username field.
6.Type in your new password in the New Password field.
7.Re-enter your new password.
8.Retype your new username in the Current Username Password field.
9.Click Apply.
10.Write down your new password and default password for future reference.

In order to change the username of an account on Windows XP you will need to have an account with Administrator rights. If you're logged in as Administrator or have an account with Administrator rights, follow the below steps.

You should not have to restart your modem after changing the password. Once you change that password you might be promt to enter your new password in to establish an internet connection following the password change. The preferred method to to access your modem is through your computer with the modems IP address.By default most of the afaq shamels passwords are as follows:
Default IP: 192.168.1.1
Username: Afaq_shamel
Password: stccpe_2007

Type in that IP address in any internet browser (Fire Fox, IE, etc) You should be prompt to enter in a user name and password. If the one mentioned above does not work try:
Username: admin
Password: password

Please indicate the Model of the router you are referring to.

If its Cisco, first do a no username xxx password nnn command on the existing configuration. Then on the global configuration mode insert a new command with the new username and password. See example below:

#configure terminal
(config)# no username old-username password old-password
(config)# username new-username privilege 15 password new-password
(config)# exit
# wr memory

Hi to reset your password, please follow these steps --

1.  Open the internet browser of your choice.
2.  Enter 192.168.0.1 into the address bar.
3.  In the username field select admin
4.  By default the passsword is blank.  If you changed it when you previously setup your router, enter the changed password.
5.  To change the password used to login to  your router, click on Tools in the menu bar at the top of the browser screen. 
6.  Under the Admin Password section, you can change the username and the password to login as an administrator.  It is suggested that you change the username and password of your router.
7.  Under the User Password section, you can change the username and password to login as a user.  Logging in as a user allows you to see the settings, however, you are not able to change any of them.

If you have not changed it, the default username and password can be:

Username: can be left blank or use "admin"
(without the quotes)

Password: can be left blank or you can use either "password", "1234", "admin"
