I have the Sakar 79534N, and they get really hot in the back, why is this?

Probable will not work on the Nikon's hot shoe because the contacts on the Sakar flash gun won't match the contacts on the Nikon's hot shoe.
You can use the Sakar flash gun as a slave flash by connecting a optical flash trigger to the Sakar flash gun and use the Nikon's flash to trigger the Sakar slave flash.

I tried to find this product on there website but it is not there....... In this case wat i would request u to do is call Sakar at: 877 397 8200
And get the manual sent to your Mailing Address..... Good Luck......

I e-mailed Sakar International and got this response...

"We are sorry for the difficulties you are facing with the phone.

We suggest you unplug the phone and remove the batteries from the phone. Connect the phone back and insert the batteries after 10 minutes and check if the problem persists.

Thank you for using Sakar International, the leader in technology."

I haven't tried it yet.

Had same problem -- after removing and re-installing both the software and camera (multiple times), I found that I could get the pics via Picasa -- in Picasa, the camera shows up 2 different times for me, as a "dual mode camera"; the 2nd entry works, letting me import the pics. Terrible pics, btw, very blurry and grainy, even when taken in bright light (get what you pay for, right?).

I hate booting back to Windows, though -- I use Linux -- but even gphoto2 (which can handle just about ANY camera that Linux won't handle natively as a USB storage device) can't handle the proprietary encoding format Sakar uses. Oh well.
