SOURCE: gas is leaking from the leaf blower.

Unless the tank has been cracked, it has to be one of the following: Broken lines, split primer bulb, unsealed fuel cap, bowl gasket of carb. I would start with the lines and bulb since they are the ones usually at fault..Good luck...Lee

SOURCE: I have the Echo PB 265L leaf blower.

I had the exact same problem with gas soaking my back and found out the yellow fuel discharge tube that comes out of the carberator was not inserted into the rubber gasket on top the fuel tank. The gasket has 3 holes in it for 3 tubes and the yellow tube fits into one of the holes. Hope this helps. It is a bit difficult to get the tube in the hole, but at least if you know what you are looking for you can get it to work

My pb2100 echo leaf blower won't start. There is a black rubber tube !of 3 with a white center at the end of tube that I think disconnected from somewhere

it is a air vent tube with a valve in it to stop fuel running out when inverted . no start could be from carby blocked , primer not working , spark problem --dirty spark plug--
stop button in off position

I have a pb413h backpack blower that has weak spark

Alright, I have fixed it.
They have a microswitch that won't allow the unit to be switched on if the leaf sucking nozzle is not attached.
The nozzle is plastic and has deformed thus is not initiating the microswitch.
To fix it I cut a plastic shim and fitted it in front of the microswitch.
Now the switch engages when the nozzle is fitted

I have the Echo PB 265L leaf blower. When it runs it leaks fuel down my back. Seems to be coming out of a tub that is connected to the fuel button pump (which you push to prime when starting) I checked on...

Vacuum tube will not stay attached. ES 210 sn 6ehxs.o21 .. Has this unit been recalled?

Some ES-210 units have been recalled, yes. It does not appear that the recall affects your particular serial number. However, more info is available from the ECHO-USA website, found HERE.
If in doubt, use the "DEALER LOCATOR" link and call your nearest location.

Hope this helps,

Need to replace fuel filter

Fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank. You have to make a hook out of about 10" of stiff wire (wire coat hanger works perfect) Hook end should be about 1/2" wide. Remove the fuel cap, insert the wire hook and snag the fuel supply tube with the filter attached to the end. Pull it back through the fuel filler opening, replace the filter and reinsert.
