Sounds like the thermal fuse has blown. Consult your manual to bring it to a appliance repair shop. Should be an easy fix.

Breville smart oven no heat or convection fan. LCD and controls working and can hear the oven clicking on.

The fan probably operated on the heat... I would tackle the THERMOSTATS, heat elements (at least 2) and/or fuse first.

My favorite supplier, appliancepartspros, struck out on Breville
(never-mind) I'll add a couple of credible ones at the bottom.

Sears parts is a good information source... but very pricey ($$$$) for the EXACT SAME PARTS you can get elsewhere...

If you can determine from your OWNERS papers which part you want to try first... get the operating parameters... and and check with a volt meter (ohms scale... power OFF)... for continuity on the FUSE, heaters & thermostat.

There is a possibility your control board (PCB) is at fault... it seems to be getting scarce... Turn it over and look for a burned/broken solder joint.

In any case... get three prices...

In the event that PCB is the issue I do recommend LOOKING TO SEARS because of their parts support and warranty...

Good luck (finding the FUSE).

Cannot control the temperature. Even when I put on the lowest heat setting the coils re bright red. What part do I need to fix it. The model is 31197S Series A2940BR

HB tried to make this unit so it could NOT be repaired, but of course it can be if you want to spend the time. The thermo on all these units is inaccurate anyway as the "sensor" is simply a metal plate screwed to the top right area of the oven interior. When I replaced my fan I also put in a new REAL oven thermo with a 12" sensing bulb which I mounted inside the oven as it should be. It took some searching to find these two parts. I have all the instructions and can post images if you want to tackle this. I did because the oven is large and the replacement model (31100 for $69 at Wal-Mart) has 1.5" less height and it uses the SAME parts with the same design flaw for the thermo. The retail cost on the parts for this job are ~$160, but I got mine for $15 total. I paid $48 for this oven years ago at Sams.

Need to check fuse or change out elements

disconnect first the unit from power supply. pull out the fuse and check for the continuity of the terminals with an ohm meter, if there is no continuity,, replace the fuse. for heater, remove one heater terminal connection and check for the resistance reading.if no resistance read, replace the heater. ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE UNIT FROM POWER SOURCE BEFORE DOING THESE.

Ttm602 toaster, browning one side ,even on highest setting , of 5

The problem is with the heater (bars) connection, which would be under the cover on the left side. Caution ! You're dealing with electricity which may cause a fire. That said, the solderless connecters on the heat elements and the wires probably need replacing, that's all,I did it to mineand it worked. DON'T forget the caution!!!!

Halogen light heater

I have same problem Took whole unit apart found upper bulb is connected with wire that goes through out. You hve to physically take bulb out through side without electronic panel wire is connected on panel sid with actual plug. but ended up cutting wire other side. Bulb is not like regular bulb you will have to hard wire one side of it. bulb is unseperable from wire. Still looking for replacement bulb. I sure miss my toaster I believe it will probably be chaper for me to buy new toaster vs replace bulb. The bulb is nothing like I have seen before.
