My phone stopped making any sounds, i can text and receive texts calls . there is no sound. i see the phone telling me incoming call but there is no ring and they cannot hear mr or me hear them.

go to your settings. click on sound. here you should find a notification option and set which ringtone you would like. make sure that you go back to your sound settings or caller settings to make sure the volume is actually turned on for incoming text messages. the reason you might not be getting them is because you have it default in your phone to keep them silent. just browse your setting options for sound or calls where you will find a "volume" option. select that and slide your notification sound over to whatever level you like! hope you found this helpful!
Hi.. This means you have activated the keypad sound, its very simple to deactivate, just go to settings-> tone settings, there you will get the option like "keypad tones" or similar to this.. just select that and make it "off".. Hope this will help you..
This most likely has to do with the sound profile that you currently have set. Go into the sound options, see if there is a detailed option available to increase/decrease the ring volume or vibration.
Some phones have the option to turn on an alert and vibration for text/incoming call.s

My phone makes a weird noise when I don't get a text. I don't know where they go but, for some reason it sounds an alarm when texts are not recv'd. It took me awhile to realize that it was notifying me that an incoming text was not recv'd. I am not sure why this is a feature because, it does not notify you whose message did not get sent to your phone
you may have to check your settings on the nokia- may not have text message 'up-loading'- 'sending' set up. your service may allow 'free' incoming- but not sending! check your phone settings- may need to go on-line to alter your settings! or find info to set your phone! good luck!
