How to reswtore to factory settings in Dell computer without disc

Why you want to reinstall the OS:

* System affected by virus, worms, spams and bluescreen

* Any OS issues and you are not able to get into windows

How to reinstall the OS:

* Normally in a computer to reinstall OS and the drivers it may take about minimum of 1 hour but using the dell partition we can do it in 25 mins and you don't need to install drivers seperately

To reinstall OS (Windows XP):

* While turning on the computer in the Dell screen you need to press control +F11 keys simultaneously

* Once you do that it will take you to a different screen were it will ask for your confirmation to reinstall the OS

* Once you confirm it the reinstallation will take place and the computer will reboot

* After that you will be prompted to provide informations like date and time zone, computer name and such things

* After this it will get into the regular desktop screen..

* All the drivers will be preinstalled other than the softwares that you installed on the computer

To reinstall OS (Win Vista or Win 7):

* While turning on the computer in the Dell screen you need to press the F8 key

* This will take you to the advance boot option were you need to select Repair my computer

* After that you need to select the Dell image restore or Dell factory restore

* Follow the onscreen instructions and it will ask for your confirmation to reinstall the OS

* Once you confirm it the reinstallation will take place and the computer will reboot

* After that you will be prompted to provide informations like date and time zone, computer name and such things

* After this it will get into the regular desktop screen

* All the drivers will be preinstalled other than the softwares that you installed on the computer

Note: Please take a backup of all the files before reinstalling the OS

If you dont have the default dell partition then you need to reinstall the OS using the CD

I can not get my Kodak easyshare opticalzoom8.2 to load my pics in my dell computer. Do you know what could be wrong?

This case usually occur for driver installation problem. Maybe you need to reinstall your driver, and make sure that the driver is compatible with your Operating System (OS). You can find OS incompatibility for example when you install driver for Windows XP which is x32 based system into Windows7 Home Premium 64 bit (x64). The installation process wouldn't work properly. That's why you must make sure that your driver compatible with your OS before you install the driver.

Hope this help and be kind to rate please, thank you.

I cannot find my microsoft setup file

Have you save the setup file before? Because if you install your OS via installer CD, then you wont have the setup file inside your PC, because the setup file already extracted in your system folder. If you want to reinstall or repair your OS you wont get the setup file unless you insert the installer CD again.
Except if you buy a PC bundled with all driver for your PC including driver for the OS, you can search them inside your PC (certain Acer laptop give this driver).

Hope this help and be kind to rate this answer.

Bluetooth device not working after windows got reinstalled

What is the old OS and the new OS of your computer? If you upgraded your system, there's a possibility that your Blyetooth device was not supported by your new OS.

Or, you might need to download a new driver that would support your new OS.

Byt if you are running the same OS, try to download the driver from the Internet and reinstall the Bluetooth driver.

Have a great day!

Got off lease also, with no OS it won't boot

You may not install a working Hard driver from one compuyer to another unless every component is exactly the same. All windows OS look at the hard ware to stop a person from  moving an OS for one syastem to another. Reinstall the OS of you have the disk,or use a free OS or co to the website and get a reinstall disk if a name brand computer that came with an os.
