Torque settings for main bearings corsa 1.7 diesel

SOURCE: torque specs.

connecting rod = first pass 18 ft lbs , second pass 75 degrees

main bearings = first pass 37 ft lbs , second pass 77 degrees

wow that wasn't easy to find for some reason .

do you have a Haynes Manual or Chilton? if not check your local library, they may have one, the specs are in there

SOURCE: WOULD YOU KNOW THE TORQUE SETTINGS FOR MAIN

Mains Stage 1 83nm
Mains Stage 2 167nm

Big ends Stage 1 29nm
Big ends Stage 2 45 - 60 degrees

cylinder head
stage 1: 40Nm
stage 2: 60° - 75°
stage 3: 60 - 75°

Hi can you help me with torque settings for main and big end bearings for 1.4 opel corsa

Connecting rod cap bolts (you must use new bolts)
stage 1 ... 25 Nm (18 lb ft)
stage 2 ... angle tighten + 30 degrees

Main bearing cap bolts ( you must use new bolts)
stage 1 ... 50 Nm (37 lb ft)
stage 2 ... angle tighten + 45 degrees
stage 3 ... angle tighten + 15 degrees

Buy a manual. I do. I would trust anyone on this site for torque settings. Not even me. I have seen some posts that would strip the bolts out of the block if used.

Torque Settings Mains = 108NM
Big Ends = 54NM + 90° +90°
Flywheel = 122.5NM
Cylinder Head = 78 NM + 90° + 90°

Valve Settings
Exhaust = 0.40 mm - 0.50 mm
Intake = 0.20 - 0.3 0mm
