I plugged it in and all of the lights come on, but when I press scan, nothing feeds. I hear no mechanical noise like it is trying.

The only way to diagnose is electronically by asking an auto electrician to scan it with a pro grade scan tool computer. They can also record what is happening on a drive! It sounds a mess for sure, mechanical and electrical and the computer can diagnose both.

When you try to start the bike, does anything happen? Noises? Clicks? Or is it silent and nothing happens? If you hear a click or it try's to start but doesn't turn over. If nothing at all happens when you hit the start switch then you most likely have an electrical issue, versus if you hear the starter click or try to start to bike, then that would mean a mechanical issue.

The deflection board needs replacement. You can get the deflections boards from www.tvrepairworld.com

clean the rollers
Used a clean paper
Open the area the paper feeds in on the scanner
lift the roller
without paper try to make a copy
press the flag-like hardware part on the ground portion of the scanner feeder
then forcefully put the whiteroller to the ground as if its trying to make a copy without the paper
to test if its working fine while you are pressing down the flag structure on the ground area also do it 2x

- wipe the rollers
- specially the one that feeds up the paper
try to scan again
- in case no go
= remove all removable parts
paper, cartridges ,black box and power supply
lift the printer turn it upside down makse sure the cover is open
so taht any foreign material will fall
shake it for 5x
return all the parts
- in case no go
have a printer repair on your area
usually its only on the rollers

Check fuses and relays first. Then check the wire connections at the motor. Sometimes the plugs get corroded and just need cleaned up and put back on.

Take it to mechanic shop
EPC - Electronic Power Control
ASR- Acceleration Slip Regulation.
It doesn't tell you much . Vehicle has to be diagnosed by pro's.

Nothing in or jamming document feeder tray.
Change the setup to scan to a file, rather than email.
Try a different USB port.
Reboot all.
Reinstall printer/scanner drivers and software.

If the weather band is working, the scanner should be working. To verify operation:

- Move the MODE switch to "Scanner" and power the unit ON.
- Press the SVC button (chrome button below display).
- Press POL (chrome button below display).
- Turn the SQUELCH knob towards the left until scanning stops and you hear a hissing noise.
- Turn the SQUELCH knob towards the right slowly until scanning resumes.

If the scanner stops on anything - even noise, it's working.

To Program:

- Slide the MODE key to "Scanner."
- Power the unit ON
- Turn the SQUELCH knob to the left until you hear a hissing noise, then turn it the right - slowly - until scanning resumes.
- Press HOLD.
- Press E (PGM).
- Press 0, 1.
- Press HOLD.
- Enter your first frequency, including the decimal point (EX: 156.055).
- Press the E (PGM) key.
- Press the UP arrow (above the SCAN key). Scanner will move to channel 02.
- Enter your second frequency, including the decimal point.
- Press the E (PGM) key.

You should now have two frequencies programmed. Press the SCAN key . . .

If it still will not accept programming, let me know.

It won't scan unless it's connected to a computer, and has the scan software running. Will it copy a document on the glass?

What kind of back door do you have on your machine. Does it have a knob that you twist to get it off or does it have pieces on the left and right you have to pinch to get it off. Reason for asking....

There were two versions of this machine put out that had two different service stations and paper feed mechanisms. One version had a motor for the paper feed mechanism and a motor for the service station. The other version just had a motor for the paper feed mechanism and service station movement was tied in to this motor This was done with an altered gear mechanism in the service station. This gear mechanism was cheap and it broke easily. When it breaks you get a knocking/grinding noise and no paper feed or service station movement. It can't be fixed.

THIS PROBLEM IS IN THE MACHINES THAT HAVE THE PINCH OFF BACK DOOR!!!
