You will have to have your model number... and go ON-LINE to get prices for the battery.

When I purchased a new battery for my old RAZR it was about $50...and I could plug it in myself... FREE + EASY.

Looking at my (hand-me-down) iPhone 4S (been a while)

I figured I could do it myself (not easily) with a kit between $80 - $100... The labor I have seen... if you are willing to shop around could double++ that cost...

But I heard MUCH higher numbers quoted at the "phone store".

Obviously they have an agenda... Sell new phones...!!

Battery charge does not last long

If your laptop battery is more than 3 years old, it sounds like it needs replacing. Search online for your laptop model number to find a replacement battery for a low cost. IF cost isn't an issue, then write the model number down and go to an electronics/computer store for a replacement.

How do you replace battery in gobii ereader

There are several fora on the net, discussing the battery replacement for the Gobii ereader. It looks as if there is no service for this reader. Some people even say you should trow it away and buy a new reader.
I think it should be possible to open the reader and order a battery, as soon as you can get it out. Just use google to fine a replacement battery.
You also could visit a phone repair shop and ask them what it cost to replace a battery, but first check what a new one will cost, because in a shop it could cost more then a new reader.

A replacement battery will cost you about $20. Whether that is cost-effective for you or not is entirely your decision.

Let me say this; The battery replacement for the Electrolux is not a owner level replacement procedure. However, you can replace the 4 original EMX1600sS batteries . The battery model is Tenergy 2/3A Size Rechargeable Battery 1.2V 1600mAh NiMH W/ Tabs Those are a little smaller than the originals but with the same capacity of 1600mAh and can be easily found in the web. Anything under those specs should work. These types of battery's will cost about $15.00 on the web.

mcdevito75 here, You:d need a couple of watch tools to change the battery, the cost of these tools and the cost of a watch repair shop to change the battery for you are similar. Look for a small watch repair shop in your area to save on the cost of replaceing the battery.
