Brand new ice maker has not made ice yet. It has been 3 days. It pulls water, fun runs close to 10 minutes, goes through the motions of dumping ice in the bucket but there is no ice to be dumped. ..........amazon78.com8GBLH5

Sounds like unit not getting cold enough to freeze ice. Maybe Blockage or leak in sealed system.

Freon is leaked out or the compressor is not working..

As long as your freezer temperature is at 0 you should have steady ice production. If you have to jumper the ice maker to get it to harvest then you most likely have a bad thermostat. That coupled with the leak issue really warrants just replacing the entire ice maker.
Be sure to ask for pricing on both the ice maker by itself as well as the complete kit. You may be surprised to find that the entire kit (including a new valve, line and bucket) will cost lest than just the ice maker by itself.

Hollow ice is a sign that the icemaker is not getting enough water.
You will want to make sure there is enough water coming to the fridge and any filters in the system are clean.

Does it do it all the time or only when the ice maker call for water... you may have a bad water valve 67006531 VALVE, DUAL WATER or a ice dam in you icemaker let me know
