What are the differences in attitude to both online dating and technology generally between the generations? I need to know this for a college paper I am working on. Help!!

Each generation has a different approach to technology which affects the likeliness of them trying online dating. There are so many differences it's impractical to list them all here, but I saw this infographic, which explains the values and attitudes of each generation really well. I'll list a few of the major points here:
a)Generation Z (born between 1993 and 1999) are most tech-savvy, with 27% having tried online dating
b)The "Silent Generation" (born 1925 to 1945) are the least trusting of modern tech, with only 3% having signed up to a dating website or app
c)12% of 55 to 64 year olds have gone online to find love, and are looking for a relationship that "goes steady"
d)Those aged 55 and over are more likely to prefer traditional methods of communicating, such as letter writing and phone calls
    I hope this helps!

I have an M-1 Garand Springfield Armory Serial# 160714 could you tell me when it was made?

Ok Barry.... If its from the Springfield armoury you may have a problem. You see, the Korean Era Garands are VERY hard to pinpoint the exact month. Its because of record keeping.
The 1950s production must be approximated by year, barrel dates, etc.
But from what I can see it may be in the month of December.

Here is a link to a "born on" table....

Hope it helps you a bit.

When did isaac newton born

25 December 1642 [NS: 4 January 1643]
During Newton's lifetime, two calendars were in use in Europe: the Julian ("Old Style") calendar in protestant and Orthodox regions, including Britain; and the Gregorian ("New Style") calendar in Roman Catholic Europe. At Newton's birth, Gregorian dates were ten days ahead of Julian dates: thus his birth is recorded as taking place on 25 December 1642 Old Style, but can be converted to a New Style (modern) date of 4 January 1643. By the time of his death, the difference between the calendars had increased to eleven days: moreover, he died in the period after the start of the New Style year on 1 January, but before that of the Old Style new year on 25 March. His death occurred on 20 March 1726 according to the Old Style calendar, but the year is usually adjusted to 1727. A full conversion to New Style gives the date 31 March 1727.
