SOURCE: How to change blade on 10" Craftsman table saw?

you need to grab the blade with something.maybe some pliers(if you are not going to refurbish blade) and loosen the nut in the center of the blade. i think it is a left hand thread(cw to loosen) because of the rotation of the blade. if the nut is on the left when looking from the front it is probably left handed. make sure it's unplugged and wear leather gloves so you don't get cut. install in reverse...

SOURCE: what kind of dado blade can I use on my craftsman

You have a 5/8" diameter arbor. You can use any dado blade that will fit. That said here's a few things to bear in mind.

8" diameter dado stacks are pretty standard for 10" contractor table saws. A dado stack is typically about 13/16" wide at most. It makes sense that the wider your blade is, the more power it takes to cut through the wood.

If you were to use the full width capacity of your Dado stack (13/16") a 10" diameter stack would bog down. A 8" stack has a faster rotation at the cutting edge because of its smaller radius. So, you don't bog down when you're making a wider cut if you use a smaller diameter.

If your machine was really underpowered, you could go down to a 6" stack which would cut your power requirements even more, but limits the depth of cut.

Where can I acquire bearings for a 10 inch Craftsman table saw Model 113.298151

If you remove the old bearing, there will be a part number on it. Take that part number to your local bearing store for a replacement.

How do I clean the gears that raise, lower, and elevate the blade on an older model Craftsman Table Saw. Is the housing completely sealed to prohibit cleaning?

I don't know without seeing it but you could use a shop vac on all the openings and see if you can spray WD40 but it will remove grease so then apply a spray grease.

Lost key for 10 inch craftsman table saw, how do I get a replacement

you can either go to searspartsdirect.com and with your model number order this key or if problems go to managemyhome.com and you can download a breakdown with the part number and also generally an owners manual that will help. If you get back to me with the model number I will try and find the part number for you.

Have a Craftsman 10" Model 113.241691 table saw

I have the same table saw. Mine has done that for the past 25 years and I've always considered that it's just the flexible shaft coming up to speed. It's never given me any problems so haven't looked into any further.
