My suv was parked for several month~s and today i try to move it and on the dush it say low oil pressure

If it's stuck in park , problem with gear interlock system ! This is a safety system that will not allow gear shifter to be move with out foot pressing on the brake pedal . Do the brake light's work ? Could be a bad switch or wiring problem or shift interlock solenoid or maybe even a control module ! http://autoshop101.com/forms/h18.pdf

The low oil level has probably cause damage in the pressure pump in the tranny With the problems as described I would have the transmission pressure tested but I think that the unit will need serious work

You need to replace the oil pressure sending sensor but I'd have the actual oil pressure checked to be sure the oil pressure is'nt low as that could cause severe damage. I assume your oil level is correct and the oil isn't "foamy" or "milky" looking on the dipstick.

CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL ON OIL DIP STICK.OIL LEVEL SHOULD BE ON FULL MARK IF NOT ADD OIL UNTIL YOU GET TO FULL MARK.IF OIL LEVEL OKAY.YOUR LOW OIL PROBLEM CAUSED BY WORN DAMAGED OIL PUMP OR WORN ENGINE CRANKSHAFT BEARINGS.IF OIL HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED A LONG TIME CHANGE OIL AND OIL FILTER NOT GUARANTEE TO FIX PROBLEM.BUT COULD BE MINOR THING.OIL FILTER COULD BE STOPPED UP.WEAKEN OIL FLOW BUT LIKE I SAID PROBLEM COULD BE OIL PUMP OR ENGINE BEARINGS.REMOVE OIL SENDING UNIT SCREW IN A OIL PRESSURE GAUGE.TURN ENGINE OVER SEVERAL REVOLUTIONS TO SEE IF OIL PRESSURE BUILD UP TO 40 LBS. SEE 40 - 60 PSI. 2000 RPM.IF NO OIL PUMP TO WEAK .IF OIL PRESSURE RISES WHEN TURN ENGINE OVER.I HAVE SEEN FAULTY OIL PRESSURE SENDING KEEP ENGINE FROM RUNNING BECAUSE OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT WILL DISABLE FUEL PUMP RELAY TO KEEP FROM DAMAGING THE ENGINE.

Does the engine sounds like it is rattling when it runs? LIke the oil pressure is low. It might be a oil pressure sensor. If it is rattling then start with an oil change.

Get it checked with a mechanical gauge. Replace sensor.

I really doubt if your motor siezed up while sitting there. But your battery could have gone dead, or your stater may have locked up, or a battery cable is loose or dirty.

I am having the same problem. Changed the pressure switch and that didnt help.
