You have to play with the trim in order the trim it to not go to that side so actually hit the trim towards where it's going and it should straighten that out of it

I re-categorized your post for you. It was posted in the MP3 player section. It should take approximately 20 minutes to charge, but it could take longer depending on the wall adapter and the cable you're using to charge it. Also, if you plug it into a computer it will take longer as it puts out less power.
i am really glad that this isnt a REAL helecopter. if you got it for christmas, you might want to return it- that is, after you verify that it is FULLY charged. this sounds like a half charged battery, that isnt spinning the bigger blades as fast as it should.
this could also be caused by any obstructions to the blades ability to rotate freely, something stuck to the blades- adding weight, bent blades, or internal belt/gear issues, regarding regulating the main blades, and the rear stabilizing blades timings.
if, before the charge, the dying battery caused the copter to crash, a blade could easily be bent, or have mud or something on it, weighing it down.
if the copter really is indestructable, i would go right back to a bad battery.
if the rechargeable battery got a memory after 4 days, i feel bad for you and your kids.
Motor failure. They don't last long. Look on fleabay for a cheap replacement. If you have a soldering iron, you can unsolder them both and insert a 3v watch battery. If it runs, then it could be the control board or else the transmitter stick control.
I have a Hercules "unbreakable" helicopter that shows that"shut down" sympton when the battery is low. I assume it does that to prevent the battery completely dying while in flight.
I, too, have the Nano RC heli. Mine spins and spins faster if I try and take off. Yours is a relatively easy fix. There are SCREWS under the rotor blades on the bottom. Tighten those.
replace batteries with new ones and then you let it spin while you trim it out by pushing rotor button ,for heli that spins clockwise push trim button on left side and a heli that spins counter clockwise push trim button on right side continue pushing the corrective button until spining slows and eventually your sons heli will fly straight again these instructions are in the owners manual
