When you install software, entries are created in the system's registry and files are placed in multiple locations in the operating system. With some programs, but not all, most of the files will be in the Program Files directory.

If that drive is permanent, you can create a Program Files folder on it and install some software. Most programs will give you an option to choose the location, but not all. You may have to make the "custom" choice during installation to get that option. But be aware that the program will probably not run if you connect that drive to a different machine where it is not installed, and that space will still get used on your main drive by accessory files. So you may want to start looking for a larger or second internal drive, or enlarging the system partition if you have available space.

Most likely yes. You will need OTG cable. You will need external hard drive with own power supply or tabled may not be sufficient to power up hard drive. It is safer to use usb stick

How do I transfer photos from my laptop to my sm-P900 samsung tablet

Connect Samsung to laptop via USB cable. Laptop should mount the Samsung as one of your hard drives. You can then drag and drop files back and forth between the two.

Reset password to my acer da220hql all in one

If you really forgot your password, try writing down all passwords you used last year, and try them one by one. If you can't find it, nobody can.
The last option, is resetting the laptop and restoring the programs, but you will lose all data and all programs installed. You have to start from scratch.
There were times you could connect the hard drive to a connector, using it like an external hard drive, but most operating systems encrypt the data, so I don't think you can recover much data that way, But you could give it a try.

Can you buy external hard drive for iPad 2

this is part of the post from...

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4054508

may be worth a look
There are some wireless external hard drives that can be used with the iPad.
The Kingston Wi-Drive, which costs $50 for the 16 Gigabyte, and then $30 more for every 16 gigs more. It works by you turning it on and then accessing the files on it from an app that you download on your iDevice. You can access music, movies, and other stuff. No connections or anything, it works like a WiFi connection, you connect to it from the setting on the iPad under wireless networks.
Then there is the Seagate GoFlex, which some would recommend over the Wi-Drive. But this one costs $199 and had 500 Gigabytes of storage. It works the sameway as the Kingston: no wires, runs over its wireless connection. You can actually fit up to 300 HD movies on it.

Unable to install OS on Hard drive. Error PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable. PXE-MOF: Exiting PXE ROM. Invalid partition table

When your computer failed to boot from the disk-drive, it tried to connect to a network-accessible "boot-server" via the Ethernet adapter.

However, if there's no cable connected to the computer's Ethernet port, you will get the "check the cable" error-message.

So, your real problem is "invalid partition table", which means that the very first record on the disk-drive is either missing or corrupt.
That first record contains the "partition table", which lists the size of the hard-drive, and the size of each partition (usually only one) on the hard-drive.

So, you'll need to buy an adapter that has a USB-plug on one end, and a connector for your "SATA" or "IDE" hard-drive at the other end.

Remove the hard-drive from your computer, attach it to the connector, and plug-in the USB connector to a USB port on another computer, and then use software to delete and then reconstruct the partition table.

Or, the hard-drive is failing, and must be replaced (maybe under warranty???).

Problem with Hard Drive

The easiest way to do that is to purchase an external enclosure for your type of desktop hard drive. They come with usb, firewire or both types of connections. It is a simple matter to remove the hard drive from the desktop and install in the enclosure. Plug it in and connect to your notebook. The enclosure will be seen as another hard drive and you can then copy what you need from the desktop hard drive to the notebook. Once on the notebook you can burn to dvd's if you like. This will not work for copying programs. They may still work, navigate to the program folder on the hard drive, find the application folder, open it and find the starting icon, right click on it and send to desktop.
All this is moot if the drive itself is too damaged to spin.
