I have a Kustom Bluetooth PA speaker. Models PA 40 BATBT That gets no sound? How can I diagnose this problem?

The symptoms you described suggest that there may be several possible issues with your Kustom Bluetooth PA speaker. Here are some steps to diagnose the problem:
  1. Check the battery: Ensure that the battery is fully charged or replace it with a new one if needed. If the battery is old or worn out, it may not provide enough power to the speaker, causing the crackling sound.
  2. Check the connections: Make sure that all cables and connections are properly plugged in and secured. Loose connections can cause crackling sounds or no sound at all.
  3. Check the volume: Turn up the volume on both the speaker and the device connected to it (such as a phone or tablet) to see if that resolves the issue. If the volume is too low, it may result in no sound or faint sound.
  4. Test the mic and instrument input: Try connecting a different microphone or instrument to the speaker to see if the problem is with the original mic or instrument. If the new mic or instrument works, then the issue is likely with the original device.
  5. Check the speaker components: If none of the above steps work, there may be an issue with the speaker's components. It's best to bring the speaker to a professional technician or authorized service center for repair.
Hopefully, one of these steps will help you diagnose and resolve the issue with your Kustom Bluetooth PA speaker.

Have new 34" Proscan Bluetooth Sound Bar speaker flashes once when plugged in then dies. Plugged it into various receptacles to check power. Took it back to store and it worked there. So ?????

It is possible that you have to pair it first with another Bluetooth device. Likely unit senses that there is not active incoming Bluetooth connection and it goes into power savingo mode or standby. Check your manual for proper setup.

Cannot find touble shooting options for JAM HX-P430B Bluetooth wire speakers

Make sure you've turned up the volume on the speaker, and that you've selected the speaker as the audio output device in the settings on your phone or in the app itself.

Can not work the bluetooth

Click on the "Start" menu and selecting "Control Panel."Click on the icon that reads "hardware and Sound." Then, select the tab that reads "Bluetooth Devices." Click on the "Add" button. This will put your computer in "Search Mode." This means that it will search for any compatible Bluetooth devices in the area. Put your Bluetooth device in "Discovery Mode." This can be done by pressing and holding the button on the side of the device. This will cause the device to send out a signal that will be received by the laptop computer. Select your device from the list of found devices on your laptop. Once this is done, your laptop and Bluetooth device will be permanently connected as long as they are both turned on. Hope this helps.

Onkyo ASV620 had been sounding great - now there is hissing along with sound on every channel

This is a tricky problem to trouble shoot, you will need a professional with additional test equipment to handle this, but since it is coming from both channels it suggest the source of the problem is in the power supply.

Bought the stereo 6 months ago, now the speakers won't work!!!! Please help!

Hi, when a speaker does not work, you might need to do some troubleshooting tips to know exactly where the problem is .

First you will need to test the speaker cone if it's working properly by using an AA battery and two wires to make sure the cone is working..

Connect one of the wires to the Positive side of the speaker, and the other on the Negative side, And after that use the battery to hear if the speaker cone will make a click sound.

If it doesn't make a click, that means the speaker cone is Bad, you will need to replace the speaker cone,
But if there is click from the speaker cone, that means the speaker is Ok, and you might need to trouble shoot your stereo to be sure if the sound IC chip is Ok in the stereo..

Hope it helped..

No sound hp pavilion a1630n how to solve this problem

Hi there,
Dealing with no sound problem, first thing you can check is the Physical hardware/Speakers, Make sure speaker volume is ok or if its properly connected, if all is properly configure proceed to next step
2 .Make sure that the Volume control is not on Mute, look at the lower side of the screen you will see there a small speaker icon, Make Sure that it dont have (x)mark on it. if you dont have the icon:
Check Device Manager: Right Click My Computer>Manage>Device Manager

Look for Sound, Video and Game Controllers make sure none of the list got (x) or (!)

if it has (x) on it right click the driver and select enable
if it has (!) download the Audio driver HERE ..
Installing Audio Driver normally fix any software related sound issues.

I am using Active 2 for the Wii and I am having trouble with my leg sensor picking up my movements, especially when doing squats, etc.

Is there a cell phone, blackberry or other device that has bluetooth capability turned on near you or your Wii? If so, turn off the bluetooth or remove the unit. That helped us.

I don't hear any sounds on my speaker and when i trouble shoot it says install sound card...... i don't know whats the problem please help.....

I'm sure you have tried most of these steps but I'm going to list them any way. So we have a complete picture of the trouble shooting process.

The first thing to check is that the speaker wire is connected to the correct audio input. On most computers this is the light green port.
The next logical step would be to check the device manager to see that the audio drivers are operating properly. The navigation to the device maniger differs depending on what version of window you have. The most common way to access it is by right clicking on the my computer icon on your desktop and selecting properties. Then click on where it says device manager. in older versions of window you will have to click on the hardware tab before you will see the device manager option. From here you'll want to look for the sound or audio icon and click on the plus sign to the left (The sound icon looks like a small speaker). If there is a exclamation point or a red x over the driver listed than you will want to reinstall or update the audio drivers. You can locate all drivers required for your computer from the manufactures web site. If reinstalling the drivers does not work you may need to replace you sound card.

I hope that information above has helped is some way.
If possible please rate this solution.

Paired with my laptop but no sound comes out of the speaker. my laptop still plays throuugh its own speakers.

Although I have a different model, I was having the same problem. By right clicking on the speaker icon next to the clock in the icon tray you'll get different options. Click on 'Playback Devices' and then you'll see all the speakers that are active. In my case, the default speaker was set to be my laptop speakers (you can see this because of the green dot). By simply changing the bluetooth speaker to be your default speaker (by right clicking on it) you'll hear sound again. And when the blueetooth speaker is disconnected, the laptop use your 'secondary' speakers, that is, your laptop speakers. Hope this helps!
