hi i think u might have directly copied the games to ur phone's memory card via data cable doing so may result in the phone saying unsupported files but since ur phone is java supported and the games will work for sure u can install the games via bluetooth enabled laptop or even u can use a bluetooth dongle to install the games in ur mobile. To install the games in ur mobile via the dongle follow these steps:-
1.first plug in the bluetooth dongle in ur system and ur PC will detect it,as soon as it detects the device go to the START menu PROGRAMS ->ACCESSORIES->COMMUNICATIONS->BLUETOOTH TRANSFER WIZARD and click on the ur system bluetooth wizard 2.switch on ur mobile bluetooth and search for any paired device u will receive a prompt message as soon as ur system detects the mobile and will ask u to enter the password type the same password which the system will generate and ur mobile will be paired u can then select a game file and send it in ur mobile from the PC via the dongle as soon as the file is copied u will receive a message in the mobile to install it type yes and there u go the game will be installed. u can also try using another phone switch on the bluetooth device of the other phone and copy the file in the targeted phone via the bluetooth .was this useful to u if yes pls do rate my solution and u can also send ur views via the testimonials thanx fr visiting fixya with warm regards - bonefirediv.
nokia 6300 you have to reinstall the bluetooth device in the nokia servies center.and then you can receive dates from other phones.[or] copy the datas to pc and formet the memorycard........
Bluetooth have different profiles. The Bluetooth profiles are A2DP (for connecting the phone to a headset with mono sound), AVRCP (for headset with stereo sound and remote control), Dial up networking (for internet connection), and FTP or File Transfer (for sending or receiving files).
Your phone should support FTP or File Transfer. If your phone does not have FTP, it will connect to other phone, but it will fail when you try to transfer any files. You may need to verify it by checking the user's manual or by calling the tech support of your phone.
If your phone does not support FTP, ask the tech support if there's a firmware that will add the FTP profile to your phone.
If your phone supports FTP, but it keeps on failing on receiving a file via Bluetooth, then try to soft reset the phone by removing the battery for 5 mins. If the same problem occurs, then this phone needs to be reprogrammed.
Please remove the paired device from nokia 3500 you are dealing with and restart your phone.
Again pair it and start receiving files. It is always a good practice when you receive a file from other device you always be on main screen of your phone not in bluetooth settings. I have seen phone with different operating system scause problem while receiving files when you are in bluetooth settings.
Hope this helps you.
that phone does not have the ftp bluetooth profile, the setting it has is an ftp(file transfer protical) for server updates only. its not compatable with sending files from or to the device via bluetooth sorry :(
When transfering dta from another phone by bluetooth it asks for the password usually 1-4 numbers to confirm authencity just enter 0 in your phone and 0 in the other phone when password is aksed for an easy solution . When you receive Mp3 or Video via bluetooth it's received a message and stored in your phone's main memory . Go to Messaging and setting and change default storage location to Memeory Card , don;t forget to copy all your messages when asked . Now you can utlizie the memory card for media received by bluetooth
