How do I switch off the parental control, I don't require any as I am a lone subscriber

It seems you have answered your own question, I have noted and archived it--for future use to help others.

Try to follow this instruction:
1. Press the menu button in your remote control. 2. Press number 4 to open the v-chip parental control 3.Press and hold the volume down and channel up buttons for 5 seconds if the passcode appears. This will reset the passcode 0000 then enter this to access the parental control. Good day and best regards.

   • If you don't know the PIN, select "I forgot," then select the empty text box for the answer to the secret question and enter it using the on-screen keyboard. Select "OK" to continue.

5. Select "Clear Settings," then select "Yes" to confirm.

In the System Settings Menu, go to the 3rd page, then select "PARENTAL CONTROLS."

• Select "YES," to change the parental controls.
• You will be prompted for your 4-digit PIN.

DirecTV2PC can be activated with the help of an activation key code. To receive the activation code, subscribers need to perform the following steps:

• Click on Download Now to receive DirecTV2PC application.

When asking to unlock parental controls, it should ask for a pin. Since you don't know the pin it will ask for a security question. Well it sounds like you trusted him and had faith in him because you believed he like you for you. Also, I'm assuming you get a little lonely sometimes, like we all do. As humans we hunger for other humans affection and acceptance. It's normal. I'm sure you're a gorgeous girl and have nothing to worry about, but it sounds like he isn't interested. That's not his fault or yours. It's just that you guys don't work together because of differences.
Next, it sounds like you really love this guy. You have strong feelings for him. It's understandable because (as I stated above) you really trusted him and cared for him. What you have to do in order to help yourself is let go of the friendship. If he's hurt you and taken advantage of your feelings, then it'll be hard to let go of them. So, if I were you I'd give up on him and stop talking to him forever, or at least until you don't love him anymore. Get rid of his pictures, phone number, email address, delete him on facebook. Delete everything about him in your life. Make sure he's only a memory. That's the best way to get over someone.
