Unless you're downloading third party apps or downloading items from various websites, there really isn't a reason to have a virus protection on your Android.
However, there are several options available on the Play Store. Simply search virus protection and many will pop up. I prefer Norton for all my devices. However, a lot of the free ones are great too!
