The white blood cells are the ones which fight infections. If they are low it could be that they are busy fighting an infection. It could be due to a side effect of medication.

The medicine is not causing your blood sugar readings to be high, it is the illness you are taking the amoxiclav for that is raising it. Any time you are sick or have a bad infection your blood sugars may go up. If you are considered contact your DR. about this.
