How to unblock my phone

i think u made a hard format which means all the dos files which is loaded for the efficient functioning of the phone by default may be get erased you have to contact ur nokia service center and reload the dos files or u can get a dos file from the net

Since you have recovered your stolen phone, you can contact your service provider or the same person you have contacted to have it blocked on the first place. They may require you for some documentation especially the proof of purchase for this product to have it unblocked.

The place where you have your phone blocked will surely assist you unblocking.

Instructions

1. Request that your service provider unblock your phone, which it may do at no charge. Read your cell contract, if you have one, and search for verbiage related to unblocking or removing a carrier block. Pay specific attention to any suspensions or fines that can be leveled if your phone is unblocked.
   
2. Identify the PIN unblock key, or PUK, code. The PUK is a unique number that unblocks your phone. Retrieve it from your service provider or any reputable unblocking service. Input the PUK into your phone. Directions for unblocking will appear on your display panel.
   
3. Buy software that will unblock your cell phone. Use a reputable site. The software can be downloaded directly to your phone using a USB cable.
   
4. Hire a company to unblock your cell phone for a fee. Choose one that can perform the software download and provide you with your PUK code.
   

To activate the phone lock protection:

1. Select Menu > Settings > General (tab).
2. Select Security > Locks > Phone protection.
3. Select Protection > On.
4. Enter the default phone lock code "0000".

To change the phone lock code:

1. Select Menu > Settings > General (tab).
2. Select Security > Locks > Phone protection.
3. Select Change code and follow the instructions.

PUKs, or personal unblocking keys, are used to unblock a mobile phone which becomes blocked. Mobile phones may become blocked when a PIN (personal identification number) is entered incorrectly on three consecutive occasions. In some instances, the phone may become blocked, which requires a PUK to unblock it, and in other instances, the SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card itself becomes blocked and again will require a PUK to unblock it. Mobile phones are also blocked when they are reported stolen and if there is an outstanding payment on the account. It is important to differentiate between unblocking phones (using a PUK) and unlocking mobile phones (using another type of code). NOTE: It is a criminal offence for anyone to attempt to unblock a mobile phone, other than the network provider who put the block on the phone. If your phone has become blocked by mistake, for example you have entered the PIN incorrectly on three consecutive occasions, then you need to contact the mobile phone network operator with your details. To explain a little more, specific to your mobile phone network, You need to go to your Service providers, web site & navigate your way to the specific PUK details for your mobile phone network operator. Usually you have to Register your phone to get a PUK code.

It seems this phone is blocked for the specific service provider so it will work on the service providers network only until you get it unblocked.

You can request the customer care of the service provider and can get the code to unblock the phone, or else you can get it unblock from outside market.

to unblock this you may have to call your service network and tell them to unblock you. If that doesnt work, try really hard to remember your password. if it doesnt work you may need a new sim card

the only thing i can suggest is look for a phone shop in the town and ask them if they can unblock it for you thats what i did. but if you want to do it yourself your have to buy this device to unblock but that costs about £90 its only £10 to unblock in a phone shop so its best to do it that way. don't get to main company phone shops like 02 just look for ones like etc phonezone or somein like that:)
