What does this code mean, the description from the auto parts store said something about limp throttle which makes no sense to me? The vehicle seems to be missing and sometimes smell like gasoline.
"Keep-alive Memory Voltage Too Low". The computer has a little battery or capacitor to keep data in its internal memory from being lost if the vehicle battery goes dead. It's detected that the voltage at that little battery or capacitor is too low to reliably protect that data.
It has nothing to do with missing or a gasoline smell.
It may be time to find another computer for that car.
SOURCE: thermostaat
first of all you open the hood and you can see the upper radiator hose follow that to the engine block for safety this is something you want to do when the car is cool after you follow the hose remove the screws there should be only 2 one on each side of hose and take it off the thermastat should be inside and make sure you put the new one in back the same way you took the old one out
SOURCE: The windows in the 95 oldsmobile cutlass ciera won't work at all
maybe the wire is severed where the door (drver dr) pivots. thats what was wrong with mine. there is a rubber boot with crinkles in it that hold all the wires together. you can also try replacing the switch board that controls the wndws on the drvr dr. hope that helps.
SOURCE: 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera SL 2.2 head bolts
you have long bolts and short bolts, long bolts go in positions 1,4,5,8,9 - short bolts remaining positions, all long bolts go in back of engine, toward fire wall or front of dash, those are positions starting at passenger side to drivers side, 8,4,1,5,9, so 1 is in the center position, 9 on drivers side. short bolts in front, positions passenger side 7, 3, 2, 6,10, stud is in position 10. Tighten bolts in sequence, starting at 1, long bolts get 32Nm, short bolts get 29Nm, next pass torque all to 58NM, than final pass add an angle of 100 degrees, little more than 1/4 turn with wrench. Bolts should have 11.9 on head, the tightening specification is called a torque plus angle to yield, that is why in your gasket kit is tells you to replace the bolts, it is recommended. I know, because I am the GM Manager for fastening engineering. Hope this helps
