I have a Beko DE 2541f slimline dishwasher and it seems to have got stuck draining - have switched it off and removed power completely but it just starts draining as soon as it's switched on again. Any ideas?

Hi there.......your problem can occur when the sump of your apliance becomes flodded....this activates the anti flood switch which causes the drain pump to run....soloution is to dry out the sump or remove machine from its location...tilt it back letting excess water flow from the sump..check that all fixing screws in cabinet are secure including the air vent (mid way u the left/rt hand side of inner cabinet...
test appliance again if problem persists you will need to change the water flow meter

Brilliant! I had the same problem. Because of your solution, I opened up my machine a third time and looked for the air vent.

I didn't find it, but had a good look round and discovered a tube had come loose, which must have been a draining tube going to the pump. It was draining the water into the sump as soon as it started running.

It was quite greasy, due to some gunge so I cleaned it out, reattached it, screwed the base back on and plumbed it it again.

    Bingo! Thanks.

If there are no problems of drain valve stuck, then the problem with the micro controller board.

When the water is full in the tank, the wash cycle will start with the spray arm in action. Lastly block the drain hose and see. Here water full will be detected & the machine will start if the level sensor is OK .

If m/c works here, you have to check the Solinoid valve of the drain.

Otherwise the micro controller.

For this pl take the help of the service provider as lot of programming versions are there. Some may suit or may not. If we try the will not accept after selling the board to u.

Beko 450 dishwasher not filling up

normally there is a water censor that is in the back of the machine you will need to remove the back and look for a small pipe 5mm diameter going upwards remove it blow gently into it you should hear a click and one when you release the air, if so then the switch is ok but the small metal or plastic pipe where it came from was blocked unblock the pipe return then pipe back to its position and the problem should be gone only attempt this if you are competent and get a friend to help eric

When we switch our Beko DE 2541 on its running straight away with the stop/start button being pressed. On the last successful cycle completed it just carried on making a noise like it was running and has...

sounds like you have a water leak. The machine is fitted with a leak detection device that runs the drain pump constantly as a safety mechanism. If you want to look your self you will need to pull the machine out and tilt it back and if possible remove the bottom panel, should be 4 screws, this gives you access to the components. Then see if you can see where the leak is coming from. Hope this helps.

Beko dishwasher not draining

Hi

Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump.
Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Brand new beko DE 2542 PW dishwasher won't start wash cycle

Hello,
It sounds as if the d/washer is pressurising due to a blocked outlet drain hose.

Make sure that the drain for the dishwasher is actually clear take hose out of the drain outlet. On some of the Beko dishwashers they put a plug up inside the drain hose which has to be removed before use or if it is a new installation and it is draining into a "U" bend on a sink check that the little spigot that the hose is onto is actually open. They come from the plumbers merchants blanked if blanked then you have to cut the end off to suit size of hose.I hope this has helped.

Good Luck.

Dishwasher won't drain

Check that you have removed all the packaging pieces from the unit, If this still doesn't work then return it to the store and get a replacement.
