What is the warning light on 2005 vw gti

Hello! A thermometer light with two wavy lines underneath the thermometer indicates a problem with the VW's cooling system...When the engine is cold; Check the coolant level in the radiator...If it is full and since the light goes out when the engine reaches normal operating temperature the Low Coolant Level sensor is defective...But I suspect the level is low..

2002 Chevy Express 1500. A/C Full of freon, fan blows hot air and not cold at all. What can it be?

check all fuses first. does ac compressor come on? if not, unplug pressure switch in low pressure line near where you add freon and short across pigtail. comes on now and cools? replace switch. if not plug back in. apply manual voltage to ac compressor. comes on and cools? if not compressor or clutch is bad. if it does, check ac relay. that's about all you can do with limited tools in the driveway. if no progress has been made, time to take it to the pros.

My 2001 vw passat's a/c runs great for 15 mins at first start up of the car. After that - no cold air but the blower still blows. So if I dont have any further to go than 15 mins. Away im okay. What could...

Maybe there is a restriction where the r134a refrigerant flows. Or, the refrigerant is low on charge and shuts the compressor off due to this.

Good luck to you.

Cooling fans do not run normally or in AC mode on 2003 VW GTI VR6

Check cooling fans not faulty - run freely.
Check the operation of the cooling fan control relay.
Replace relay, and observe if this fixes the problem.

Temp control switch does not regulate temp i get heat on all settings except max ac

switch prolly not bad but you might wanna look into your heater control valve. valve not closing and letting the hot coolant fill your heat exchanger rather than recycling it back to the cooling system. The heat is over powering your a/c system and you're only getting a bit of cooling when you have the a/c on max. try it out
