Radio Resets when I PTT

1) You were right to change to new batteries. Yet, the problem you describe is the same problem that would present itself if you had bad or poorly charged batteries. Check your contacts where the batteries touch inside the radio for damage or film/debris. Clean with a pencil eraser.
2) Is it possibly you have changed a setting, or have your radios programmed to a repeater (duplex only) frequency? Reprogram (if possible) your radios to a very basic setting with the code set to zero (off), and all special features turned off. Then using a basic radio-to-radio frequency test the radios again

3) If reprogramming is not possible due to the radio shutting itself down, then you have a battery or charging problem. Be certain the radio is turned off when on the charger and the battery is clean and inserted the right direction. Try charging both radios overnight. Observe your charger, does it seem like it is operating properly?

Basically, problems are either the radio, the battery, or the charger. By process of elimination you should be able to determine which one is the culprit.

Best regards.

Cant use my fv700 i changed the chanell and frequency for bothh but still not working help

One solution that i read was "i had two fv700 do the same thing. i replaced the nimh battery packs in both radios and replaced with triple a batteries and both started working properly"

This has worked for me also - aaa batteries fit right in - it's just a drag that it's not rechargeable anymore - I wonder if 3 rechargeable aaa's would work?

Hope this works!

Hi my yellow battery lead with the fuse

Are you using AMPs? You may have everything connected right but, when you turn it on the battery doesn't have enough supply to operate the system. This happen to me and I had to change my alternator, and battery.

One radio not working

Hi it sounds to me that you have a fault in the microphone or the cable to the unit.check all the connections wiggle the mic cable and note any changes.
You say the mike button is frozen? try adrop of CRC in the press to talk switch-- only a drop or two, dont want it getting into the microphone it self.
Oh and have you got the batteries in the right way?
