If the wheel is remaining locked it indicates the wire is broken or has come off the necessary componant within the handlebar. If the Loola is under 2 years old return to your retailer with proof of purchase for them to send to the engineers for inspection/repair work required under warranty terms and conditions. If it is over 2 years old or you do not have proof of purchase contact 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30 to book it in for chargeable repair. This machine uses 'New style' snap on feet. The reason it is 'new' is because old style Bernina feet are the complete foot, whereas new style you just 'snap on' the foot base.
Ebay is the best place to find original Bernina feet at very reasonable prices. I recently purchased a solid steel 'old style' foot from UK for U.S. $28.
When purchasing zipper feet, decide if you want regular zipper foot or invisible zipper foot. Often it is cheaper to order both at the same time, due to S&H fees.

I spoke with the Saab dealer whom sold me the springs last March, he told me there is an ongoing problem with many owners having to change springs, I have bought 2 x new springs and had them fitted total costs incl repair of damaged tyre £450, I will not be as originally planning purchasing another Saab, after sales are poor and excuses unacceptable when requested they honour warranty.
