How to restart

Keep calm, dear.
Please moderate your language.
Look in the manual for the instructions.

Perform the reset operation to initialize the camera’s setup (page 136). After that, configure each setting. If the language selection screen does not re-appear when you turn the camera on, it means that the camera’s built-in memory management area has been restored. If the same message appears after you turn power back on, contact your retailer or a CASIO service center.

To change language or date/time in the future, yo should use the Setup menu,

1. Setting up your camera
   • Attaching the strap
   • Loading the AA batteries
   • Turning on the camera
   • Setting the language and date/time
   • Storing pictures on an SD or SDHC Card

Was it or did someone change it recently by mistake? If you can at least read the language that would be very helpful.
If it was changed by mistake, simply follow the instructions;
(you have to look at the icons to locate all these) Menu > Settings then press up key once and press "Ok" again "Ok" and enter 12345, then "ok", now your phone will restart itself or it'll restore to it's original settings.
If this isn't helpful for you.. do like this...
Menu > settings > press down key 5 times and select it, the you'll see the lists of languages, use you up or down key to locate english which is written english "English" and select it.

How to change the language on the camera.

Proceed as follows;

Press the menu button and scroll down to the 6th option press OK

The language change option is the 10th option and it has a logo showing ABC.
Press OK to change to the Language of your choice.

You re-programe the date and time within menu, camera settings, date and time.

Click Sony Support and download English User Manual copy, press Menu, settings, main settings in same sequnece and select Initialize camera, this will set camera to default settings and camera will ask time, date and language settings, select English.

Menu; Setup (Logo: Wrench), Language (Logo: ABC), Press OK and you can choose the language you wish.

Menu; Setup (Logo: Wrench), Date (logo clock), Press OK and you can choose the current time and date.
This will also be possible after resetting the cam. Take out the batt for longer than 10 sec after reinserting the batt and switching the cam. on it should give you the option to change the date and time.
