SOURCE: 1989 Corvette - Windshield Wiper Arm

On mine I lifted up the arm,at the base where its connected to the car there is a little metal tap that sticks out. Pick up on the tab,at the same time release the arm. It should stay up. Then kind of wiggle the base near the tab while pulling up on the arm.It should come right off.Its on a spline like stub.Try to put it back on the same spline teeth it came off of.This keeps the arm in the proper place. Once off its easier to see how the blades come off. Try calling a large auto parts store to see if they have your proper blades. Most large auto parts stores will install the blades for you for free if you buy blades from them.Dont buy the cheapest ones, they dont last.
I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: passenger wing mirror replacement

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

SOURCE: I have a Zub Zero

Yes, they should look the same. This bracket helps to turn the ice maker off to prevent over flow. Guessing by the age I believe you have a 650 or a 650-2. The part number for this is 7014671 and it is called a ice maker rudder arm. Go to http://subzero.com/locator/index.aspx to locate your local parts supplier. If you look inside the door jamb you will see your model and serial number. Give this to the parts house to ensure you get the proper arm.

Samsung bd-c5500 door no longer opens and closes with the disc tray. How do I reattach so it opens and closes with the disc tray?

If the door of your Samsung BD-C5500 Blu-ray player is no longer opening and closing with the disc tray, it may be due to a misaligned or disconnected door mechanism. Here are the steps to reattach the door so that it opens and closes with the disc tray:
  1. Unplug the Blu-ray player from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the small white gear wheel that controls the opening and closing of the door. This gear is located near the front of the disc tray, on the right-hand side.
  3. Check the gear to see if it is misaligned or if there are any broken parts. If the gear is misaligned, carefully realign it so that it meshes correctly with the other gears in the mechanism. If any parts are broken, you may need to replace the mechanism or the entire Blu-ray player.
  4. Once the gear is aligned, locate the metal arm that connects the gear to the door. This arm is located on the left-hand side of the door.
  5. Carefully reattach the metal arm to the plastic tab on the door. You may need to use a small screwdriver or pliers to hold the tab in place while you attach the arm.
  6. Once the arm is securely attached, plug in the Blu-ray player and test the door mechanism by pressing the open/close button on the remote or on the front panel of the player. The door should now open and close with the disc tray.
If you are unable to reattach the door mechanism or if the problem persists, it is recommended that you contact a professional repair service or the manufacturer for further assistance.

Squeaking belt on airdyne bike

I love my Schwinn Evo Comp AirDyne. After 2 years it suddenly developed a bad squeak and about .5" of increased play in the pedals (ie the pedal could rotate back and forth about .5" before turning the fan). Both these symptoms were caused by a broken spring in the chain tensioner. (Schwinn pn 13000371. See part 80 in blowup 5 of http://www.fitnessrepairparts.com/diagram/114 ~$9).
To replace this:
  1. disconnect the right hand (as you sit on it) connecting arm (ie the piece that connects the pedal to the big handle) from the lever arm (ie the big handle you pull back and forth) by removing the connecting bolt with an Allen head wrench and an adjustable wrench. Note the order of the three internal washers as you remove the connecting bolt. Rotate the connecting arm towards the back of the bike to get it out of the way.
  2. remove the four phillips head bolts that hold down large right hand plastic cover. With the connecting arm out of the way this cover can be pulled far enough out to gain access to the chain tensioner.
  3. remove the broken spring and replace it. I fashioned a similar spring with less tension which seems to work as a kluge. The original spring broke at the outermost loop, so I might have been able to reuse it by just bending down another loop.
  4. could lube the chain while you are in there, but you can also lube it anytime from the other side
  5. put it all back together

My Hp colorlaserjet 37ooDN is showing the error : 59.C0 Pl. HELP

Hi,
59.C0 Error Displayed on Control Panel Remove all the print cartridges from the printer so the right swing guide will be visible and check for the parts described in the photos below.
If the right side swing guide does not go all the way back, the 59.C0 alienation error will be displayed on the control panel. A plastic part on the swing guide could be missing.
See photo below where the three circles are on the right side of the printer.
Figure 1: Right swing arm assembly
37001See photo for details of the part. Call-out 1 in the photo below shows the parts in place, while Call-out 2 shows the missing part. (The part looks like an upside-down t.)
Figure 2: Missing part causing 59.C0 error
370021 - Part in place
2 - Part missing
Another cause for a 59.C0 error can be the black sliding lock is broken, out of place, or missing the spring. (See figure below) This can cause 59.C0 errors or 10.92.XX errors.
Figure 3: Right swing frame assembly
37003Replace the swing guide. Please look for the missing part in the printer so it will not cause other issues from movement to other parts of the printer.
If the part in the call-out is present, close the door slowly and observe the right side swing arm. It should close uniformally with the left side swing arm. If not, arrange for service on the printer and replace the right swing arm.

Turned on wipers to clear off snow both worked for a minute then the drivers side stop working and seems to move freely by hand as if linkage is broken

It probibly stripped the insert, if you get a screw driver and pop the cover up, there is a hex nut, remove it, the wiper arm should pop right off, either replace it, switch it to the right side (not recommended unless emergency, big blind spot on right side of winshield) I have cut a piece of a can (aluminum) and placed it between the shaft and the wiper arm, replace the nut and adjust before tighting, it will hold for awhile, Good luck

Bottom spray arm will not spin. Water pressure is fine and no clogs. Any suggestions?

Nrmally the bottom arm is not controlled by a solonoid selection.so try and spin the rotor by hand. Does it turn freely? Does it strike any part of the tray? If no problem there, remove the bottom rotor and inspect the holes on both sides.it only takes one hole on one side to be blocked then the equalibrium is broken.(To clear, get to a tap and fill centre with water then quickly tap librally and remove the small parts of calcium that normally collect in the rotor.) When eventually all is clean, replace and test.

Replace wiper linkage or transmission 2001 Sonata

You can get the part from your local auto parts or dealer. The replacement is very easy, just pop the black cap from the wide side of the arm and take the nut off (either a 10mm or 12mm socket will do) and pry up and down a couple fo times. Don't forget to make a little mark on the arm and the stud to realign it.

1999 saab no heat driver side

#9 report.gif post_new.gif 1 Minute AgoYou don't have to remove the dash. You can get to the broken part from underneath. I ordered a replacement aluminum blend door stop arm to repair the plastic one that breaks and it cleared all the heater problems and codes.Usually it is just the stop arm that broke but sometimes after the stop arm breaks, the shaft can fracture also. In my case, it was just the stop arm.
I originally ordered the stop arm from SAABSite for the left side which I found had broken. It worked but I did have a little trouble getting the new part on. I think most of my difficulty was because the manufacturing of the part from SAABSite was not very good. The hole with the keyways was not round but was uneven and rough. It looked like someone didn't use the right tool to drill it but instead bored it out with too small of a drill bit. I've got a little experience in a machine shop and so I was really surprised/disappointed at this workmanship. I had to clean it up with my tools.
After doing all this, I decided to replace the right side stop arm as well as a precaution. I went on Ebay and found and ordered the same type of part... $32. The Ebay item price was much better due to cheaper shipping which was actually A LOT faster getting to me so a win-win all ways around. I was very happy to find the part from Ebay was much higher quality. That is the one I would recommend if you were to buy. However, I also noticed that the motor shaft on my right side had slipped as you describe. At first I pushed it in too far because when I put the cover back on, it would stall... I found the other end of the shaft that pokes out the back was contacting the cover. I repositioned it again and had no further problems.
