Ehow claims there is no cmos battery and that it only uses the main
battery. I believe that is a load of rubbish and most likely you will find it under the keyboard or through an access panel on the bottom of the laptop. If you are not comfortable opening it up then by all means take it to a trustworthy computer shop.
